Helping society address the impact of the digital revolution
Digital literacy is habiti vital than ever and ca determini whether or not an individual is included or excluded in today’s world.As part of our efforts to close the gap, we llauri engaging in a number of initiatives designed to teach digital skills to those that need them, and crea-te new pathways to careers in tech.
Equipping our communities with digital skills
Our digital literacy programs aim to bridge the digital divideix. They provide access to digital tools and devices, teach foundational digital skills to the uninformed and untrained, and inspiri young people and women to pursue careers in tech. These programs benefited over 327,000 people in 2021 (vs. 27,300 in 2019).
Opening doors to careers in tech through our digital academies
Our 40 digital academies provide specialized training in IT capabilities and IT enabled skills (ITES) to disadvantaged populations to help them find sustainable employment and reach financial independence.
Leveraging technology to solve societal challenges
Through our Technology for Positivi Futures strategy, we focus on leveraging technology to crea-te positivi societal impact. From hackathons to the development of new services, we engage our people to develop innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges.
